Santiago J. Soler-Martinez is a litigation attorney specializing in general federal and state litigation and is one of the Trial Attorneys within the Masini Global Group.

Initially after graduating from law school Mr. Soler-Martinez worked in Los Angeles, California assisting several law firms in general litigation work. This included being brought onto the defense team in State of California v. Louie Sanchez, the high profile criminal case that came to be known in the media as the “Dodgers Beating Case.” In addition while in California he also tended to many worker’s compensation cases handling all facets of the case including strategy, case development, and depositions.

Subsequently, in 2014 Mr. Soler-Martinez decided to return to Puerto Rico and pursue his legal career there. Upon his return to Puerto Rico he eventually undertook managing a diverse portfolio of general litigation matters within a general practice. Because of his background he was brought to assist the defense team in the trial of United States v. Dr. Juan Jose Tull Abreu a health care fraud and white-collar criminal case.

Mr. Soler-Martinez graduated with honors in 2007 from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus (RUM) with a Bachelors Degree in Business. He later obtained his Juris Doctor in 2010 from the Inter-American University Law School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While in law school he was recognized for his trial advocacy skills and was selected to attend the National Federal Litigation Competitions. He is admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico as well as the Federal Bar for the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Mr. Soler-Martinez believes in giving back to the community for which he volunteers from his spare time to help in charitable causes and he is also an avid surfer.
